GoDaddy, the world’s largest domain registrar and webhost, revealed that there had been a breach of SSH login credentials to a subset of their servers.

The breach was discovered on April 29, but had occurred last October. Approximately 28,000 webhosting customers were affected, who were subsequently notified and had their passwords reset by GoDaddy as a precautionary measure.

GoDaddy is also a CIRA accredited domain registrar, offering .ca domain registration services.
